Garnet, biotite, and hornblende from 29 rocks have been analyzed by spectrochemical methods; 62 mineral analyses are presented. The lithologic units associated with the gneisses are briefly described. An examination of mineral assemblages of Grenville gneisses has shown that certain minerals were found not to coexist.
